The reports state that CBS Interactive Inc., a division of CBSSports.com, is seeking a declaratory judgment that it has the rights to fantasy football statistics that are publicly available. The broadcaster said that they had asked for the injunction because the Players Association had threatened to sue for licensing fees.
The complaint was filed in the US District Court in Minneapolis. A response has not yet been filed by the Players Association.
