Italian public-service broadcaster, Rai, has acquired the domestic rights for the 2008-09 Supercoppa (Super Cup) from the Lega Calcio, Serie A’s governing body.
Under the deal, Rai will pay €600,000 for all domestic media rights, including, free-to-air, pay-television and radio rights.
According to eufootball.biz, Rai is also interested in acquiring the Serie A highlights and has offered €30 million for the rights.
