STATS and NFL agree new data deal

Leading sports information provider, STATS LLC, has extended its relationship with the National Football League (NFL) to become the exclusive domestic provider of real-time NFL play-by-play, scoring data and statistics.

Under the multi-year agreement, STATS will provide exclusive content across NFL properties. In addition, STATS will provide AP editorial content and fantasy football news and notes for the league’s website, www.NFL.com. The NFL Network will also utilise STATS’ industry web-based statistics tool, STATS Pass®, along with its game notes and expert staff research to support NFL Total Access and game broadcasts. NFL Films and all 32 NFL teams will also be utilising STATS Pass.
