IOC set to earn €3bn from Beijing Games

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is set to earn 30 per cent more during Beijing 2008 Olympic Games than in Athens, reports Radio Netherlands.

The combined earnings for the IOC from the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing and the Winter Olympics in Turin two years ago are estimated to be worth over three billion Euros.

The increase in income is credited to the rise in money from the sale of media rights, particularly in the USA.
