Everton up for sale?

English Premier League club, Everton, could be up for sale to tycoons from India, Russia or America if the government approves its new £400 million 50,000-capacity stadium plan on the outskirts of Liverpool, according to UK paper, The Observer.

The paper said that disagreements over the future of the club between board members, Bill Kenwright and Planet Hollywood founder Robert Earl, mean that an offer will probably will not be rejected.

Former chief executive, Keith Wyness, who resigned last week, is accused by Earl of looking for another job while he was still on duty with the club, and a bitter war of words has now broken out between the duo Kenwright - Earl and Wyness.
