The deal includes free-to-air, pay-television and pay-per-view rights and will cover the rights to all of MPS’ 12 Italian clubs, including the top four sides – AC Milan, Internazionale, Juventus and Roma.

Geographically, culturally and commercially, Italian Serie A attracts a huge core audience and is one of the most important sporting events for Switzerland. Winning the television rights is going to help us strengthen our market position tremendously.”
The 2008-09 Serie A season will begin on August 31 2008.
