Volkswagen renews commitment to football in South Africa

Volkswagen renewed its title sponsorship of South African Premier League side the Moroka Swallows until 2011.

Moroka Swallows CEO, Leon Prins said, “We were absolutely thrilled when Volkswagen came on board three years ago and we are extremely proud that Volkswagen has decided to renew their title sponsorship until 2011. The relationship between the team and Volkswagen has grown from strength to strength and as a result, the club has been able to continuously strive for improvement, both on and off the field. Volkswagen South Africa has shown confidence and trust in Moroka Swallows to utilize the club as a vehicle to leverage their brand. There is no better association than partnering the people’s car with the people’s game”.

The club has introduced a new and interactive Website, an innovative Mobi-Site (a first of its kind in the South African football industry) and Moroka Swallows Television. The club has unveiled its new modernised Swallows logo and kit design.
