Francis Graille joins Lagardère Sports

Francis Graille will join the Strategy and Development department of Lagardere Sports, from July 1, 2008.

Francis Graille has shared the role of Sportfive General Manager with Christophe Bouchet since 2007. Together they led the first stage of the company’s development, concentrating on the consolidation and strengthening of Sportfive’s rights portfolio.

Over the last 18 months, Sportfive has signed comprehensive new marketing agreements, including stadium development projects, with several clubs in the French League 1 and League 2. These contracts include Olympique Lyonnais (until 2020), AC Ajaccio (until 2017), AJ Auxerre (until 2018) and, most recently, RC Lens (until 2020).

In addition, Sportfive has extended its rights portfolio by signing agreements with the African Confederation of Football, granting Sportfive the exclusive marketing and media rights for CAF events up until 2016, including the Africa Cup of the Nations, CAF Champions’ League, Confederation Cup, African Youth Championship and African Nations Championship.

At the end of this first successful phase, Christophe Bouchet will continue as General Manager of Sportfive and Francis Graille will contribute to Lagardère Sports development.
