Financial services provider, Engage Mutual, extended its sponsorship deal with the Rugby Football League (RFL), the sport’s governing body in the UK, for up to three years.
Under the deal, Engage Mutual will continue as title sponsor of the Super League, the elite division of rugby league, until the end of the 2010 season, with an option to extend until the end of the 2011 season.
RFL's Commercial Director, Paul Kimberley, said: "We are delighted that engage has decided to extend its sponsorship of Super League. Each season the competition continues to go from strength to strength and with the support of engage we have added an extra dimension.
"This is an excellent time to be involved in Rugby League. Attendances and viewing figures are on the up, participation numbers are growing and excitement is building as we approach the World Cup”.
