In her new role, Bass will negotiate television rights for several sporting events, including the PGA Tour, the Kentucky Derby and Wimbledon. She will also be responsible for managing contracts with NBC Sports & Olympics on-air presenters.
“[Ms. Bass] is a valued member of the NBC Sports & Olympics team,” said NBC Sports President, Ken Schanzer. “Her hard work and legal experience has helped NBC Sports & Olympics negotiate some of our most powerful properties’ television rights deals”.
Bass joined NBC Sports & Olympics in 2005 as Director of Business Affairs. Before joining the company, she was an associate at international law firm, Cahill, Gordon & Reindel.
