UK commercial broadcaster ITV has acquired live audio rights for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, which it will use to broadcast coverage of matches via its ITV.com website, in a deal with IMG.
ITV acquired three live audio coverage streams, covering matches on Centre Court and Court One, and a ‘round-up’ stream covering matches on all other courts. The content is from an internationally syndicated feed of radio coverage.
ITV has established a dedicated website – ITV.com/wimbledon – with content including news, picture galleries, videos and betting.
