The office will serve as the hub for its operations for the four sub-regions, and aims to become a centre of acquisition of regional sports rights and a major distribution point for the agency’s burgeoning portfolio of media and marketing rights. The move signals MP & Silva’s plans to capitalise on its growing commercial activities in the region, and will provide greater support to its existing business partners.
Carlo Pozzali, a former executive at IMG World and Sportfive, will head up the new office. The Miami office will be MP & Silva’s third international office and will be the agency’s second expansion in eight months – following the opening of its Singapore office in October – and its European office in Milan.
