New marketing head at Neo

Indian sports broadcaster Neo appointed Abhishek Verma as marketing head of its two channels Neo Sports and Neo Cricket.

Verma was the Marketing Head of Sab TV part of the Multi Screen Media company. He has more than ten years experience in the industry. He has worked as marketing manager at the Discovery Channel and created loyalty marketing programs at SurfGold, as head of client services. He has worked with clients such as Tommy Hilfiger, FedEx, Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard.

Verma said, “Neo Sports has redefined sports entertainment. I am confident that we will be able to attain our marketing objectives and establish the channels as leaders in their category.”

Neo is the holder of the Indian Cricket Board rights in India.
