QobliQ, which is backed by the AIM listed fund Ingenious Media Active Capital Limited, acquired brandRapport in the UK in December 2007, with a view to becoming a leading international innovative marketing services group.
The management team of QobliQ is led by Xavier Quattrocchi-Oubradous and Roland Giscard d’Estaing, the original founders of SponsorClick France. Both have backgrounds in M&A and investment banking.
SponsorClick France was founded in 2003 and provides expertise in the design and the implementation of sponsorship marketing strategies, activation platforms, evaluation tools and measurement plans to a wide range of blue chip clients including Caisse d’Epargne, Groupe Bel, Cointreau and Nivea.
Commenting on the latest acquisition, brandRapport’s Managing Director Andy Dwyer said, “We are delighted that QobliQ has completed the purchase of SponsorClick France so soon after our own acquisition. A strong presence in mainland Europe, added to our offices in the UK and Hong Kong, establishes brandRapport as a global sponsorship marketing consultancy with the ability to develop and implement global strategies for multinational brands”.
