The rise is attributed to higher sales of TV rights, which Juventus said rose to €37.9 million, up from €25.6 million. Sponsorship sales also grew from €10.2 million to €7.6 million over the same period.
The club said that operating results in the three months to March saw profit of €2.3 million, down from €2.7 million the previous year, while sales rose to €54.4 million, up from €39.1 million.
Operating costs rose 31.3 per cent to €44.4 million, boosted by higher player costs, the club said.
Juventus reiterated its forecast for a full-year loss, depressed by costs of strengthening the first team squad.
