TSN will show 16 matches, including one semi-final and the final, and has sublicensed the other 15 matches to Sportsnet. All matches and pre- and post-match shows will be available in High-Definition.
The two broadcasters will share personnel and studio space for pre- and post-match shows, and have also partnered on a website for the tournament, which will be accessible via TSN.ca and Sportsnet.ca, and will feature pre- and post-match video reports, stats, results and schedules.
TSN and Sportsnet have had previous joint-coverage agreements for the Canada/Russia Super Series junior hockey event and the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
