Under the deal, Pro TV will show extensive live match coverage and a weekly highlights programme. Pro TV’s sister channel, Sport.Ro will also show a live game every match week. The deal also includes internet and mobile rights.
UEFA said: "We are very pleased to renew our partnership with Pro TV. They are a broadcaster with an excellent track record in producing quality sports programming. The significant commitment which they have made to the UEFA Cup is evidence of the continuing appeal of the competition to football fans in Romania".
A package of rights relating to non-exclusive coverage of delayed matches remains available in Romania. TEAM Marketing AG is the exclusive marketing agent of UEFA for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Cup.
