BT Aligns With Athlete-Sponsor Matching Service Catch Sport

BT, a London 2012 sponsor, agreed a deal to use Catch Sport’s online athlete database to search for athletes to sponsor in the run up to the Olympics in 2012.

Resulting matches will be supported by a British Athletes Commission approved contract. Paul Simon, Head of Commercial Sponsorship for BT said: “We are very pleased to be working with Catch Sport to identify and potentially fund British sporting talent. Their unique online approach to matching corporate sponsors to athletes combined with their partnership with the BAC made the decision to sign up to Catch Sport an easy one for BT. The British Athletes Commission, which works with Catch Sport in an exclusive partnership, said through their Chief Executive Pete Gardner: “We are delighted that the initiative with Catch Sport has attracted such a high profile company.
