NBA team the Charlotte Bobcats agreed a deal with Time Warner Cable for naming rights to the Charlotte Bobcats Arena and for TV distribution.
The new deal will shift Bobcats games from Time Warner's News 14 to Fox Sports Net South, allowing the Bobcats games to be available in three times as many homes in the Carolinas as News 14.
The Bobcats, Time Warner Cable and NBA officials have discussed for months the unique swap that ends a three-year naming rights search for Bobcats Arena, which also houses the Charlotte Checkers minor-league hockey team.
