AC Milan, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Lyon to discuss club revenue at Soccerex

Four of the most successful clubs in Europe will convene at the Soccerex London Forum to outline how their revenue strategies differ and what the landscape is for the future.

Speakers on 'Club Revenue Streams: Past Successes & Future Growth' include:

Umberto Gandini, Organizing Director, AC Milan

Peter Kenyon, CEO, Chelsea FC

Begoña Sanz, General Commercial Director, Real Madrid CF

Olivier Bernardeau, Commercial Director, Olympique Lyonnais

As the latest Deloitte & Touche report confirmed, the top football clubs are continuing to benefit from existing revenue streams and find new areas of growth: the top 20 clubs have achieved the cumulative revenue of £2.5bn, an increase of 11 per cnet from 2006/07.

This panel, moderated by Dan Jones, Deloitte & Touche, will address how they utilise their assets beyond their lucrative annual broadcasting deals.

Representatives from these clubs will also debate issues regarding emerging revenue streams:
∑ strategies to maintain attendances & improve matchday experience
∑ secondary ticketing
∑ international partnerships
∑ capitalizing & protecting Intellectual Property Rights
∑ embracing new media to reach a new global fan base
With commercial, broadcasting and matchday income proving considerably lucrative, these leading industry figures will also speculate whether there is a perfect operating ratio between these 3 streams.

The 4th Soccerex London Forum will take place at Wembley Stadium on April 9.
