The deal covers the live coverage on Eurosport 2 of the ULEB Cup season from end of October to mid of April, including the prestigious Final Eight. Eurosport 2 will also continue to broadcast the Euroleague Basketball Show on Fridays.
Arnaud Simon, head of broadcasting Eurosport and Eurosport 2, said: "The Eurosport Group is the European partner of the ULEB Cup since 2005, showing more than 45 matches each season. We are delighted to be the host broadcaster of the inaugural Final Eight, an important step in the rising success of the ULEB Cup. The quality of the matches broadcast across the season combined with the exciting Final Eight has led us to extend the existing deal. We are proud to offer our viewers some of Europe's best basketball."
Jordi Bertomeu, CEO, Euroleague Basketball, added: "We are very proud to be expanding our partnership with Eurosport 2. Fans will be able to follow the ULEB Cup for three more years on Eurosport 2, one of the world's most popular and professional TV platforms. I am thrilled about the continued coverage the competition is receiving and the exhaustive programming for the 2008 ULEB Cup Final Eight. I would like to invite all fans to come to Turin or watch the whole Final Eight on Eurosport 2."
