The deal, which is believed to be the first of its kind, will see Quinney wear the Coyotes logo on his shirt during tournaments starting at this week's FBR Open in Scottsdale.
Phoenix Coyotes team COO, Douglas Moss, said: “The Coyotes are proud to sponsor Jeff Quinney, he has proven to be a fierce competitor and one of the most talented young players on the PGA Tour. The qualities he displays both on and off the golf course, as well as his connection to the Phoenix area, make him the ideal golfer to represent our organisation”.
At select tournaments in 2008, Quinney will wear a Swift Transportation logo as part of the sponsorship agreement instead of the Coyotes emblem.
