According to French media reports, mobile operator Orange has bid for all 12 packages of TV rights available in the Ligue 1 tender, including live rights.
Orange said only that it had bid, but would not confirm the number of packages it had bid on. In the last tender, in 2006, it bid only for mobile rights.
Mobile rival SFR is reported to have bid for video-on-demad rights and mobile rights.
