Some regional partnerships within BG countries of operation will continue.
Les McDonald, President, International Triathlon Union said: “We have had a great partnership with BG Group that has helped increase the development and commercial success of the sport around the globe. We’re proud of what we have achieved together, particularly the establishment of a global Sport Development programme which has helped hundreds of young athletes and coaches from around the world.”
ITU and BG Group will continue to work together for the remainder of the year as BG maintains title sponsor of the World Cup Series, the World Championships and the Sport Development programme.
