The appointment was made after a highly competitive pitch. Icon has worked for the ECB since 1999 servicing all domestic and International matches played at the various county and Test match grounds around the country.
The new contact will involve handling the signage - perimeter boards, boundary ropes, trivision, pitch logo mats and TV sponsor backdrops - for around a hundred live televised matches including the npower Test Matches, One Day Internationals and first class and one day county games.
Joe Bruce, ECB’s Head of Sponsorship, said, “We have been very impressed with Icon’s work over the last few years. They have a proven track record of maximising media exposure for cricket’s sponsors as well as outstanding reliability, having to deliver under some extremely tight time pressures.”
