Candidate cities will have to be nominated by their National Olympic Committees by March 6 with candidature files then due in June before a shortlist is drawn up in August.
The International Olympic Committee last month short listed five cities as Candidate Cities to host the first Summer Youth Olympic Games in 2010: Athens, Bangkok, Moscow, Singapore and Turin.
An IOC Evaluation Commission, chaired by IOC Executive Board member Sergey Bubka will now visit the five short listed cities, submitting its report to the IOC Executive at the end of January 2008.
