Zee sells ICL's rights for $10 million

The Zee Group sold the international TV rights for its Indian Cricket League (ICL) to three international broadcasters in deals worth a reported $10 million.

The three distributors satellite broadcaster Astro PPV for the South-East Asia region, the Sri Lanka-based Derana and Gateway, which reaches countries in Europe and the US. All three acquired the rights for all ICL matches.

Zee is also broadcasting matches itself via its Zee TV platform. The ICL’s ongoing Twenty20 matches will be broadcast on Zee Sports across the UK, US and South Africa.
