Under the deal, brokered by the Fast Track agency, £1.7 million will be invested by Balfour Beatty supporting the London Youth Games and local grass roots sport development from now until 2013.
As title sponsor Balfour Beatty will also be contributing ideas, management support and resources to help ensure that the London Youth Games goes from strength to strength. As part of the deal, each Local Authority will be awarded grants for sports development in an annual competition.
The London Youth Games are open to anyone aged between seven and 17, with every London borough submitting teams across 30 different sports in a series of competition days, building towards the three days of finals at Crystal Palace.

The Finals weekend for the 2008 Balfour Beatty London Youth Games will take place on the 5th and 6th of July delivered by Limelight Sports.
