Total TV, a pay-satellite platform broadcasting in Serbia and Montenegro started operations in Slovenia with Total TV Slovenija.
The platform is the country’s first pay-satellite service. Total TV will provide Slovenian subscribers with a number of pay-channels on top of those they will receive free-to-air from Eutelsat and Astra satellites. Total TV uses transponder capacity from Eutelsat. Currently, about 11 per cent of households watch free-to-air satellite in Slovenia.
It is expected to broadcast European sports channels Sport Klub Slovenija and Sport Klub+.
