PCB chairman Nasim Ashraf said: “It is a big step forward that will speed up the efforts in making our first class cricket more thrilling and entertaining.”
Under the deal, the winner of the first class trophy will receive Rs5 million. “Our continuous support is geared towards reviving the sport at the grassroots level, ” said the bank’s representative Naved A Khan. He added the PCB was making untiring efforts to improve domestic cricket and create opportunities for the young talent.
