Adidas said it will end its sponsorship of the T-Mobile cycling team as a result of the sport’s continued doping allegations.
"Obviously it's a long story of doping and discussions with Telekom," Jan Runau, Adidas Group spokesman, told The Associated Press. "We have told Telekom of our decision and we are in talks to get out of the contract early."
Telekom, which is the team's main sponsor, is also reported to be considering its relationship with the team, which bears the name of its T-Mobile subsidiary.
