“The Coca-Cola Company, as the longest and continuous partner of the Olympic Games and a proud supporter of the Olympic Movement, was deeply concerned about the disaster that hit Greece and the site of Ancient Olympia,” said Dominique Reiniche, president of Coca-Cola’s European Union Group.
“After our immediate relief efforts, we wish to continue our engagement and help to facilitate the rapid restoration and reforestation of the Olympic site. Therefore, we are happy to announce this donation to the Hellenic Olympic Committee, expressing our commitment to actively participate in the restoration and reforestation efforts.”
The Coca-Cola Company is the longest-standing supporter of the Olympic Games, since 1928, and its donation will help restore - among others - the forest area around the Pierre de Coubertin monument.
