“I am delighted to be involved in a conference that raises the profile of the outstanding contribution made by women in all areas of British sporting life,“ said the double Olympic gold medallist. “I hope to continue to play a part in encouraging women across the spectrum to continue to be involved and lead the way in sport.”
Raising the Game is supported at the very highest level in the British sporting establishment. Prime Minister, Gordon Brown will be providing a specially recorded message to conference delegates showing the importance of this topic at a national level. In addition to contributions from policy makers and leading figures in women’s sport, this conference will focus around three important areas: participation, branding and media.
The one day conference takes place November 15. For more information e-mail Kiera Goymour at kiera.goymour@sportbusiness.com.
