No UK broadcaster will be screening tomorrow’s fight between the veteran challenger Holyfield and Russian Sultan Ibragimov who beat Shannon Briggs to take the WBO World Heavyweight crown in June.
"We are delighted to have secured the rights to make Holyfield's title challenge available to boxing fans who are increasingly poorly served by mainstream media,” said Robert Waterman, managing director of SecondsOut.com.
"I am sure that the future of boxing and many other sports lies in delivering content directly to communities of fans through sophisticated online technology."
The deal secures the latest in a series of world title fights which have been available live and exclusive to SecondsOut.com viewers but ignored by traditional broadcasters.
In all, SecondsOut.tv will screen at least 35 live events a year from around the world.
