The Eurosport Group announced the appointment of Simon Crane as Managing Director of Eurosport UK.

Eurosport has created the new role of Managing Director to head the group's operations in the UK. Crane said," I am really proud of this opportunity, so it is with great enthusiasm that I have accepted Eurosport's offer. I share the same values and passion for sport and strongly believe in the growth potential of our multimedia offer Eurosport, Eurosport 2, Eurosportnews, the eurosport.yahoo.uk website, and Eurosport mobile, that puts Eurosport at the forefront of leading sports media groups.”

"We are delighted that Simon has joined Eurosport as our UK corporate chief. He is the ideal person to develop the Eurosport group's profile and drive future growth in the UK beyond our key business to business advertising, broadcast and distribution markets," said Jacques Raynaud, Vice Chairman, Eurosport SA.
