North One deal for World Rally

North One Television acquired International Sportsworld Communicators (ISC) - the media and commercial rights holders of the FIA World
Rally Championship.

The British-based media outfit has produced WRC television coverage for ISC for more than seven years and began purchase talks in the summer.

The company plans to re-energise the ISC business, especially in the television,
sponsorship, licensing and digital arenas. “These are very exciting times for North One Television,” said CEO Neil Duncanson. “Taking control of ISC is a tremendous challenge and a big responsibility. We’re moving in a dizzying and vastly different media world than when we first came into the sport and together with the teams, the events and the FIA our aim is to ensure the sport takes its rightful place in the digital era.”

ISC Managing Director Simon Long will become CEO of the company. He added: “I am really excited about the future in partnership with North One and working with our partners in the WRC community to demonstrate our commitment to raising WRC into a premier position as one of the world’s greatest sports entertainment brands.”
