Portland, Oregon to host the 2007 Davis Cup

The USTA announced that the Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon will host the 2007 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Final between USA and Russia on November 30 - December 2.

This is the first time that Portland has hosted a Davis Cup Final, although it did host two Davis Cup semi-finals in 1981 and 1984.

The decision is subject to a successful site visit by the International Tennis Federation, but the USTA is anticipating a sell-out crowd in the 12,000-seat arena, in the first final in the USA for 15 years.
