Multipro Natural, a new water purification company, has signed a three-year agreement to become a major event partner of the series with the aim of promoting its water treatment product AquaSP.
“Multipro Natural AG is a new business that is looking to build its brands globally,“ said Roderick Tanzer COO, Multipro Natural AG. “This partnership is mutually beneficial as A1GP provides global reach into more than 150 countries with 300 million viewers.”
AquaSP will also become a sponsor of eight of the A1GP teams over the next three years: A1 Team Switzerland, A1 Team South Africa, A1 Team Portugal, A1 Team Great Britain, A1 Team Netherlands, A1 Team China, A1 Team Germany and A1 Team India.
The sponsorship includes sponsorship of car liveries and website activation.
In addition, the brand will be involved in event sponsorship, starting with the sponsorship of the A1GP Zandvoort last weekend.
Separately, the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport has appointed Aon South Africa to be its official risk management provider for the 2007/08 season.
