Similar arrangements with a variety of international blue chip and sporting brands are expected to be confirmed in the coming days, the event organisers said.
“Taekwondo has witnessed a huge surge of interest in Britain in recent years, which has been reflected by the success of the British team which has risen from 88th to 11th in the world rankings," said Event Director, Andrew Link. “The fact we are able to attract companies of Samsung’s magnitude shows just how far the sport has come in a relatively short space of time.”
Samsung has been a global partner of the World Taekwondo Federation since 2005.
