Archery World Cup invites host city bids

The International Archery Federation (FITA) will launch the bidding process for its 2010 and 2011 World Cup Final events on October 1.

FITA, in cooperation with TSE Consulting, has recently initiated moves to make the event more attractive for potential hosts, athletes and spectators.

The World Cup Final event, says FITA, has been designed with a focus on ‘encouraging hosts to showcase their most spectacular destinations as competition venues’.

“We have worked hard to make the concept of the event valuable for host cities and look forward to welcoming new partners,” said Tom Dielen, FITA Secretary General.

This year’s event will be held in November on a floating venue in Dubai at the Jumeirah Madinat resort.
