“Neo will definitely be able to charge a premium for their upcoming series,” said Sundar Raman, managing director, North and East India, of the global media company MindShare.
Earlier this week, Neo Sports officials said they have reached an agreement with InCable Net to carry Neo Sports and Neo Sports Plus.
InCable Net reaches close to four million viewers across India and adds to the one million homes that Neo Sports is now able to reach through its recent distribution agreement with Tata Sky.
In recent weeks, Neo Sports and Neo Sports Plus have also signed on cable operators in south India, thereby pushing up its reach to about 45 per cent of households in the south.
Neo Sports has the telecast rights of all international cricket played in India until 2010.
