The Australian PGA Championship is the country’s oldest professional golf tournament and is becoming 'the must see event in Australia' according to Max Garske, chief executive officer of the PGA of Australia. “To have a major international airline as prestigious as Emirates join the PGA Championship as a major sponsor speaks volumes about the standing of the event,” he said.

The Championship will be played December 6-9, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Coolum Hotel on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
