ESPN International promotes Lynne Frank to MD Europe, Middle East, and Africa

Lynne Frank, ESPN’s Managing Director for Europe has been promoted to senior vice president in ESPN International. Frank will continue to oversee ESPN’s expanded business in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

In recent months, Frank led ESPN’s acquisition of NASN - the only European channel dedicated to North American sports, now available in 32 countries and 10 million households; cricinfo.com - the world’s leading cricket website and scrum.com – a leading rugby news, features and information portal.

Frank also oversees the operations of ESPN Classic Sport, available to more than 22 million households in over 40 countries; ESPN’s channel businesses in the Middle East, Africa and Israel; directs the overall syndication sales effort in the region and manages ESPN’s European headquarters in London. Lynne also oversees soccernet.com which was recently expanded with the launch of French, German, Spanish and Italian versions.

Frank will continue to be based in ESPN’s London office and will report to Wolff.
