London 2012 will sign up sponsors in eight categories, with deals to be done in the sportswear, airline, automotive, telecoms, oil and gas, and clothing and homeware categories. Lloyds and EDF have taken the banking and utilities categories.
The aim is to have all eight in place before the 2008 Beijing Games.
