The new media arm of Major League Baseball has set a new record for online ticket sales for the seventh consecutive year.
MLB Advanced Media confirmed that to date in 2007, more than 24 million tickets have been sold on behalf of the league's 30 clubs at MLB.com, the league’s official website, and the individual club sites.
The current total tickets sold not only represents a new annual mark for the company, but also surpasses the total number of tickets sold online for the entire 2006 season.
