MORE CLUBS TO SPEAK AT SOCCEREX 2007

Competition among the top European clubs for players, prizes and fans now takes place on an international, rather than national, scale. Soccerex has designed a panel to approach this contentious subject: “Competing Commercially with Football’s Elite”.

Currently in the process of building new stadia, both Ebru Koksal, General Coordinator, Galatasaray and Vassilis Parthenopoulos, General Manager, Panathanikos will share their knowledge on the maximization of revenues from stadia.

Joined by Dmitri Ephimov, Commercial Director, Lokomotiv Moscow, they will offer an insight into the commercial management of their clubs, which all have a rich history in European football’s leading competitions.

With rising TV revenues and an influx of foreign investment, the top clubs in Europe are spending more to ensure their continued success, creating a difficult environment for the clubs who are without access to such sources.

All three representatives will elaborate on their club’s strategy to compete with the European game’s elite, both on and off the pitch, and their experiences will provide a unique perspective on the pressures facing football today.
