Liverpool FC’s American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett, in conjunction with US architects HKS, have radically redesigned the original plans for the stadium.
The new 60,000 all-seater stadium, is scheduled to open in 2010 and is part of a £300 million investment by the club. It has the potential for capacity to increase to more than 75,000.
The architects are American company HKS, which are also designing the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium.
