MOTOR SPORT FORUM SET FOR GLOBAL EXPANSION

The Motor Sport Business Forum added new events set for Asia and the Middle East. As well as the regular Forum event in Monaco in December, the motor sport conference and exhibition will take place in Asia in 2008 and the Middle East in 2009.

The expansion is the result of increasing demand, particularly from motor sport’s major new markets. With a new Formula One Grand Prix scheduled for Singapore in 2008 and Abu Dhabi in 2009, the global business interest in the sport has stepped up another gear.

Event Director Simon Berger said: “What we’ve found since launching the Forum in 2005 is that the motor sport business industry is too big to limit to one show in one continent. Our events in Asia and the Middle East will focus on the many successful ventures and exciting opportunities in those areas.”

The new events will give regional sponsors and executives an opportunity to listen to new ideas, discuss sponsorship initiatives with both international and regional sponsors, and to network with industry professionals from all over the world.

They will also build on the success of the Monaco Forum, which is already entrenched on the motor sport industry calendar. So much so that Formula One Team Principals, Global Marketing Directors and Race Circuit bosses are lining up to speak at this year’s Forum.
