Robert Waterman, of Secondsout.com said: “We’re delighted to have signed for what promises to be an intriguing content in Cologne. We are determined to give boxing fans in the UK and around the world access to world class contests which are, increasingly, being ignored by mainstream broadcasters. We have a duty to the fans and to boxing itself which is in danger of being marginalised by the media.”
SecondsOut.tv has agreements with some of the world’s leading promoters and will screen at least 35 live events a year from around the world this year. The service is complimented by weekly news programmes, documentaries, interviews and a massive and growing archive of boxing action.
Robert Waterman said:” This is an important time for boxing and, in many territories, there is a dearth of good live action regularly available on television. That is hugely frustrating for many millions of boxing fans who love the sports irrespective of weight, sanctioning body or the boxers’ nationality.
