DOLPHINS AND JAGUARS LOOKING FOR STADIUM SPONSORS

The NFL’s Miami Dolphins and the Jacksonville Jaguars are looking for corporate sponsors for their stadiums.

The average NFL stadium sponsor is reported to pay an average of around $5 million a year on naming rights.

But the numbers are a little bit distorted by three of the NFL’s major deals.

The University of Phoenix pays $150 million over 20 years for the Arizona Cardinals' stadium; Lucas Oil will pay $121.5 million over 20 years for the new Indianapolis Colts stadium and Reliant Energy is paying $10 million a year for the Houston Texans' stadium - the biggest deal in the NFL.
